We strongly follow the mantra of ‘treat people as we would like to be treated ourselves’ we place the utmost value on listening to residents to respect their wishes on a day to day basis.

Family

We acknowledge human responses related to loneliness, especially in the elderly and its’ contribution to cognitive decline. Here at our small home we are big family, where friendships and interactions are the heart of everything we do, whilst respecting people’s time for themselves.

We allow family and friends to visit loved ones at any time and appreciate the value of open communication with family members. They are regularly invited to participate in events and activities at Westbourne.

Comfort

We take pride in providing confident care as our team are all adequately trained and practice our values. We create a simulating environment for our residents in which we ensure variety and relaxation to keep our residents physically and mentally healthy.

Choice - Individual approach to care

We ensure every individual is supported to make choices, express preferences and be actively involved in the way they wish to receive care. At our small home we know each resident very well and tailor our activities to individual requirements. We appreciate the things that make our residents unique so we can offer that personal touch!
